In July an interesting discussion startet on Theknowledgecore’s Blog about the future of KM. David Griffiths talks about that topic. In his opinion we sould stop talking about KM and change to topics like innovation, resilience and sustainability. Interesting here the term resilience, since it does not appeare in the German KM scene. Resilience is a term from system science and describes the ability of a system to a react on a shock that comes from outside. We sould also change to see knowledge management as a strategic goal in an organisation. Do you agree? What do you think is the future of KM?

First, thank you for bringing your community into the discussion.
I recently added the following blog, which explains a little more about resilience and the potential operational responses from a KM perspective: http://theknowledgecore.wordpress.com/2011/07/31/the-truth-can-we-handle-the-truth/
Thank you again and I look forward to hearing your opinions.
